Tom rode the Pyrenees with Mat on a KTM 690 Enduro R, a light single that is more at home on a gravel track than a motorway. It proved you do not need a big touring bike to cover a lot of ground, and also why most people want one on the long transit days.
For the next big tour he is looking at a BMW GS, for the bigger tank, the comfort and the room for luggage.
